What Lies Beneath - Thriller - Download Movie
Year : 2000 Directors : Robert Zemeckis Genres: Thriller, Haunted House Film Codec : dvd-rip Lang : English | In this supernatural thriller, a woman believes that a visitor from another dimension is trying to guide her into a sinister mystery. Feeling lonely after her daughter leaves home for college, Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer) begins to sense that something is wrong in her house, and feels a spirit is trying to contact her. At first her husband Norman (Harrison Ford), a scientist doing research in genetics, attributes her paranormal beliefs to stress or possibly a nervous breakdown, and sends her to a psychiatrist (Joe Morton) who puts no more stock in Claire's stories than does Norman. While Claire's contention that someone or something sinister is afoot leads her down a number of blind alleys, in time she becomes convinced that the mysterious happenings at her home are somehow connected to the disappearance of a woman who was a student at the nearby college — and bore a striking resemblance to Claire. What Lies Beneath marked the debut of screenwriter Clark Gregg, whose script is based on a story by himself and Sarah Kernochan; the supporting cast includes Diana Scarwid as Claire's best friend Jody, and James Remar and Miranda Otto as a contentious couple living next door. |

Year : 1982 Directors : Jack Sholder Genres: Thriller, Horror, Horror Comedy Codec : dvd-rip Lang : English | This is a very enjoyable tongue-in-cheek horror film about some homicidal maniacs who break out of an asylum and terrorize a psychiatrist's family on a dark and stormy night. Martin Landau and Jack Palance are particularly funny, but there are some genuine scares as well. One scene, in which a frightened woman is menaced on her bed by a maniac thrusting a butcher-knife up through the mattress, is a clever send-up that will nevertheless linger in the memory. The coda, in which the crazy Palance has a bizarre encounter with a spaced-out punk chick in a nightclub, is a real gem. Recommended. |

Year : 2007 Directors : Guillaume Nicloux Genres: Thriller, Psychological Thriller Codec : dvd-rip / xvid Lang : English | Guillaume Canet stars in Guillaume Nicloux's suspenseful post-noir thriller La Clef (The Key) as Eric Vincent, a thirtysomething whose wife, Audrey (Marie Gillain) longs for a baby. A troubled situation involving Eric's own dad, however (including years of estrangement) makes him extremely reluctant to father a child himself. One day, a call arrives, and a mysterious stranger on the other end both announces the death of Eric's father and invites Eric to reclaim the gentleman's ashes. This sets into motion a chain of events that will entangle the young man in a series of endless complications - complications involving drug dealers, professional thieves, long-buried family skeletons and a host of other ills. As the story unfolds, Nicloux criss-crosses two narratives: a crime-themed account set in the present, and a chain-of-events set in the past that details how Eric's life became enmeshed in a web of deadening violence. |
